FAQ: Student to Student


I thought it would be a good time to see if we can use this space to share some knowledge with new students.  New students can ask a question by posting a comment and then existing students can offer their advice by posting their own follow-up comment.  If you have a question about official policy or procedure, this is not the way to get that information but I was thinking that existing students might have some good advice about elective classes, places to live, where to get books, assistantships outside the department, and other related topics.

We’ll see how this goes …
